On this occasion, I would like to welcome you to the Official Portal of the Department of Wakaf, Zakat and Hajj (JAWHAR) and thank all those who are willing to browse the JAWHAR portal.

This portal is one of JAWHAR’s initiatives to deliver information to the community with more effective and user-friendly features as well as provide a true picture of the functions, roles and responsibilities of JAWHAR in coordinating issues and programs for the development of Muslim treasures in the field of Wakaf, Zakat, Mall, Hajj and Umrah.

Thus, in continuing the Vision and Mission of JAWHAR, the development of this portal will be an easier and more efficient channel in increasing public awareness and understanding of the cooperation established by Federal Government Agencies with the State Religious Authorities in empowering and advancing the socio- economic development of the ummah.

In crossing the development of globalization and the world without borders, JAWHAR as a religious agency at the federal level is also taking steps to utilize this official portal as an interactive channel in conveying information to the public.

It is hoped that the information displayed can give a true picture of the functions, roles and responsibilities of JAWHAR and can be understood easily and clearly.

Finally, I hope all parties can get to know JAWHAR more closely and I very much welcome any views and suggestions to improve JAWHAR’s services and website. Hopefully the efforts and cooperation given by all parties can improve the JAWHAR service delivery system.
